What struckme most as an outside observer, was thedeportment of the girls: they all walked in with heads held high, in their white graduation gowns and green stoles embroidered wit h the letters OWLAG,and identical white shoes, took their seats on the stage very gracefully, crossed their right ankle over the left, and sat without fidgeting,hands neatly foldedin theirlaps. When they rose to sing, receive their scrolls or give a speech, they were the essence of poised young ladies - truly a credit to Ms Wi nftey's ideals, and the school's excellent training.
