Sri Rangu Rajender, Warangal Rural District-506164 has filed 2nd appeal dated 24-01-2018 which was received by this Commission on 27-01-2018 for not getting the information sought by him from the PIO / O/o The Tahsildar, Hanamkonda Mandal, Warangal Urban District and 1st Appellate Authority / O/o The Revenue Divisional Officer, Warangal Urban Division, Warangal Urban District. 2. The brief facts of the case as per the appeal and other records received along with it are that the appellant herein filed an application dated 20-11-2017 before the PIO under Sec.6(1) of the RTI Act, 2005, requesting to furnish the information on the following points mentioned in his application: 3. The Public Information Officer vide Memo Rc. No. C/240/2017, dated 05-12-2017 has asked the appellant to pay the photo copying charges i.e., Rs. 2/- per page to obtain the information. 4. Since the appellant has not satisfied with the reply received from the Public Information Officer, he filed 1st appeal dated 18-12-2017 before the 1st Appellate Authority u/s 19(1) of the RTI Act, 2005 requesting him to furnish the information sought by him. 5. The 1st Appellate Authority vide Notice Ref. No. L/5657/2017, dated 11-01-2018 has directed the Appellant and the Public Information Officer / O/o The Tahsildar, Hanamkonda Mandal, Warangal Urban District to attend before the office for hearing on 18-01-2018 at 04:00 PM along with connected records. 6. As the appellant has not satisfied with the reply received from the Public Information Officer and 1st Appellate Authority, he preferred this 2nd appeal before this Commission u/s 19(3) of the RTI Act, 2005 requesting to take action against the PIO and 1st Appellate Authority for not furnishing information sought by him and also to arrange to furnish the information sought by him. P.T.O ::2:: The Appeal was taken on file and notices were issued to both the parties for hearing on 18-01-2019. The case is called on 18-01-2019. The Appellant is absent. The Public Information Officer / Sri V. Mahender, Naib Tahsildar is present. The First Appellate Authority is absent. Sri D. Sridhar, Naib Tahsildar is present on behalf of the First Appellate Authority. The Public Information Officer submitted that through Memo. Rc. No. C/240/2017, dated 05-12-2017 sought information was furnished to the appellant. He also submitted that with regard to point No. 4 the record reveal that file bearing No. B/635/2010 does not pertain to this subject. He further submitted that in the register maintained with regard to assignment of lands for freedom fighters does not contain the name of Smt Rangu Anasurya, W/o Late Sammaiah. For point No. 5, available and held information was furnished on payment of requisite amount. The Commission directed the Public Information Officer to inform the appellant that no such allotment or assignment was made in favour of Smt Rangu Anasurya as per their records and the file No. mentioned by them does not pertains to this subject.
