NORTH WEST Locality Improvement Plan 2017-2022: summary Following the introduction of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015, the Council and partners have worked with the local community to develop the North West Locality Improvement Plan.

The plan aims to help those people who are in greatest need, and focuses on what action can be taken to improve the quality of life of the people who live here.

The North West locality covers five wards: Almond, Drumbrae/Gyle, /, Forth and . In developing this plan, we asked people in North West what would make the area better and how can we strengthen the community’s voices in the decisions that matter across the locality.
