The annual bilateral medical confer- ence between the U.S. Army and Japanese Ground Self Defense Force was held Friday at the Camp Zama Community Club here. More than 30 medical practitioners from U.S. Army Medical Department Activity – Japan, U.S. Army Public Health Command – Pacific, the JGSDF Medical Department, Central Service Support at JGSDF, the Na- tional Defense Medical College at JGSDF, the JSDF Central Hospital, and JGSDF Medical School discussed medical agendas, exchanged information and explored the ways in which their professions can make an impact. The conference has been alternately hosted by each side, and this year’s was hosted by the U.S. Army. This year also marked the 15th anniversary with the theme of “Strong Minds and Strong Bodies.” The conference kicked off in the morn- ing with opening remarks by Col.
