The University offers an accommodation to distinguished guests of The Charles University. It is not open to the general public. It is run by the Organization Department of the Rector´s Office.
Accommodation facility in Celetna 14 (Opitz House)
The University Hotel is located in a historical building – Opitz House. The Opitz House has been the property of the Charles University since 1957. Many baroque and roccoco style details can be seen in the interior. The painted beamed ceilings from early baroque time above the staircase and in some rooms on the second floor deserve a particular attention. The last refurbishment according to the project of architect Tomáš Šantavý was in 2001.
The University Hotel offers 16 rooms with the total capacity of 29 beds (Room types: suites, double-rooms, single- rooms). Every room has its own bathroom.
The hotel offers only short-stay accommodation for a daily charge according to the room type.

The Charles University accommodation facility in Jinonice
The accommodation facility is located in a modern building in Prague 5-Jinonice. Charles University offers accommodation in studio flats, which are suitable for both short- and long-term stay of university guests.
19 studio flats with the total capacity of 37 beds are available. The studio flats are doublebedded; in addition, a single- bedded flat with easy non-barrier access is also available.

The accommodation building is located in the vicinity of the Metro station JINONICE (line B). Prague centre can be reached in approx. 20 min.
