Written objections (stating grounds and quoting ref: 3289) must be received by me by the 21 st day of December 2018.

The proposed 50mph speed limit is being introduced to help reduce the speed of traffic approaching the village of Farnsfield. The proposed 50mph speed limit would start from the Old Rufford Road (A614), which currently has a speed limit of 50mph, and extend to the site of the existing Farnsfield village sign. The start of the existing 30mph speed limit would be moved to the site of the village sign, a point where the signs will be clearly visible and at the start of the bends at the entrance to the village. The new sign position will encourage more drivers to slow down as the character of the road changes after this point.
