In Acts 2 we read that when the Holy Spirit had come people from all over the world said, "In our own languages we hear them speaking about God's deeds of power." As we gather to worship as the Pacific Northwest Mennonite Conference at Portland Mennonite Church on June 21 and 22 at 7 pm, we will hear about in among us in the various languages of our people. On Friday, Pastors Victor Estrada and Kevin Schumacher will share the story of their congregations' growing together across cultures and languages. On Saturday, Executive Conference Minister, Katherine Jameson Pitts, will bring the message. Singing will be led by the Roca de Salvacion Worship Team led by Wendell Amstutz. Special music will be provided by persons from Anawim and International Bethel City Church. Join us for creative art, liturgical dance, anointing and communion. Check-in will begin on Thursday, June 20 from 4:00-6:30 p.m. prior to the pastor/spouse dinner. Registration will continue from 7:30-8:30 a.m. Friday, June 21. The Friday Delegate Sessions begin at 8:30 so please come early to allow time to register for the seminars and trainings.

Parking will be available in front of the main building, Egtvedt Hall. The check-in table will be located at the Egtvedt Hall entrance on Thursday.

Erika Bollman, received a master's of art in conflict transformation degree April 28 from Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Va. She is the daughter of Rick and Marj Bollman who attend Emmaus Christian Fellowship in Meridian, ID. Ericka’s future plans include serving in Indonesia with MCC. Another graduate, Jeanette Nisly, originally from Sheridan, OR and currently living in Guatemala, received a master of science in nursing degree. She is the daughter of Alvin and Sharon Nisly who attend First Mennonite Church in McMinnville, OR.
