About the artist: A signature member of the National Watercolor Society (N.W.S.), Ms. Gaucher-Thomas teaches drawing and the fine art of watercolor painting in addition to on-location workshops. She has served as juror of selection and awards for many organizations including the Naval War College Museum, Newport, RI,; Providence Art Club, Providence, RI; Attleboro Arts Museum, Attleboro, MA; Rhode Island Watercolor Society, Warwick Art Museum, the National Association of Women Artists in New York among others. Her paintings have garnered numerous awards in juried exhibitions from across the country and hang in public and private collections in the U.S. and abroad. She maintains a studio in East Greenwich, RI.
