Rogation Sunday May 9th I am very grateful to Sue and Angie Goody for allowing us again to go to their (Old Lonan Church ) farm for our 10.30 service....We need to know numbers for catering for the provided ploughman’s lunch. We will meet in the Conservatory then we will make a short journey around the farm to look at and pray for the animals ,water and crops.

Time Together our ecumenical hour of prayer to which all are welcome is at the Laxey Football Club at 11 on Wednesdays.

Films in church We know we can do it-decision to wait till the autumn to commence film shows

Covid injections collection There will be a receptacle at the back of the church to place your donation in, to go to less fortunate folk, via Unicef, who do not have our NHS. Hearing Aids we have a good loop system in Christ Church. I have this week ascertained that NHS hearing aids are fitted with a loop receiver BUT it is NOT automatically activated by the dispenser. The wearer has to ask the dispenser to activate the loop system

St Christopher’s –we are still collecting for the young people, please put your donations in the box at the back of the church. I will rearrange Ben to visit and come and tell us how they have fared, and if we can better assist in any way.
