RESPONSE TO COVID-19 In response to the Covid-19 pandemic and the guidance of the District of Columbia Office of Public Health, Georgetown Visitation transitioned on March 17, 2020 to distance learning with no loss in academic continuity. Student performance continued to be graded on the school’s grading scale, and final transcript grades reflect the average of three trimesters of coursework. Ninety-eight percent of students enrolled in AP courses took the AP exam.

A dozen co-curricular activities continued after distance learning began. Moderators and students used a variety of media to allow participation including virtual meetings and email communication.
