Jung-Fu & Jennie Wu Scholarship will award 3 scholarships to outstanding college students whose parents or grandparents are current members of SDTCA. June, 2012 The award for each student is $2,000. Scholarships will be formally awarded at the annual “SDTCA Mid- Autumn Festival Event”. Scholarship Criteria: 1. Applicant’s parents or grandparents must be current members of SDTCA 2. Applicant must currently be attending a college or university in North America and enrolled as an undergraduate student. 3. Applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3 on his or her most recent transcript. 4. Applicant must show scholastic achievement, maintain good conduct in the community, demonstrate community leadership, and show other achievements and interests. To be considered, the applicant must include the following in his or her application: 1. Applicant must complete the Scholarship Application Form (available at SDTCA). 2. Applicant must include his or her most recent transcript. 3. Applicant must include two letters of recommendation as follows: 1) Applicant must obtain a written recommendation from a member of the SDTCA. 2) Applicant must obtain a written recommendation from a member of the faculty at the school in which he or she is enrolled.
