An additional aspect of the contemplative tradition is the use of various meditative techniques to ponder the Divine and the esoteric underpinnings of the material world. These include meditations on Hebrew letter permutations and ways in which the sefirot supernal divine forces harmonize and interact. Some ancient Practical Kabbalah of kabbalistic meditation produced a visionary experience of the supernal "chambers" and the angelic beings who occupy them. This is known as the Heichalot tradition. These techniques are also sometimes used as a means of rectifying imperfections in the soul, rather than producing spiritual knowledge or elevation. Kabbalah Iyunit has thus been characterized as a descriptive "anatomy" of the divine reality. Kabbalah is concerned with the technical identities and "locations" of, and relationships between, the Practical Kabbalah planes of realitythe sefirot divine emanationsand the order Practical Kabbalah which they evolve from one another and affect one another in the vast chain of Practical Kabbalah, known in Kabbalah as the seder hishtalshelut --the process by which divine energy or "light", in kabbalistic terminology devolves from Practical Kabbalah spiritual planes to lower ones, eventually to become manifest in this physical plane of existence. Kabbalah Maasit or "Practical Kabbalah" involves techniques aimed specifically at altering natural states or events and includes techniques such as the incantation of divine names or the inscription of such names upon amulets. On occasion, these methods have been used to fashion a golem humanoid or some other creature. Even during the mid th Practical Kabbalah in the era of the great kabbalist Rabbi Isaac Luriaknown as the holy Arithere are indications of these techniques being abused by unfit practitioners. The holy Ari himself admonished his disciples to avoid the practical arts of Kabbalah, as he deemed such practices unsafe as long as the state of ritual purity necessary for service in the Holy Temple remains unattainable. In essence, there is no clear demarcation between the contemplative elements of Kabbalah and those aimed at influencing or altering existence. As does Kabbalah MaasitKabbalah Iyunitthrough its system of kavanot guided meditationscan influence the configuration of divine forces affecting our reality. Like Kabbalah IyunitKabbalah Maasit is founded upon knowledge of kabbalistic theory and doctrine. Of course, the primary objective of Kabbalah including Kabbalah Iyunit is practical— to reveal in this world the divinity manifest in the hidden planes of reality. The ultimate intention of both types of Kabbalah is to bring the individual—and then all aspects of reality into harmony with Practical Kabbalah divine purpose for which they were initially created. The totality of this law is accepted by the reason and tradition. But yet what casts doubt and therefore a serious damage to this law would be a tight connection between Karma and Incarnation in the School of Eckankar. This is because the ECK believes that Karma is incarnated through the transmigration, and moves from a birth to another one and this long way is continued up to the constellations. Therefore, in this writing and while explaining the Karma and accepting it in its totality, various typed of incarnation are explained ,and then it will be studied and criticized based on the teachings of Islam. FARTHING DIFFERENCES IN THEOSOPHICAL TEACHINGS AN EXAMINATION OF SOME OF THE DIFFERENCES IN DATA AND TERMINOLOGY BETWEEN THE ORIGINAL LITERATURE AND LATER VERSIONS Introduction There are many of the more thoughtful students of Theosophy and many teachers who are genuinely confused at the discrepancies they find between what has become known as second generation Theosophy (the Annie Besant/ C.W. Leadbeater or A.B./C.W.L. system) and the teachings of the two Masters instrumental in setting up the Theosophical Society and introducing Theosophy as given out through H.P. Blavatsky (the H.P.B./ Masters system). These discrepancies do not come to light as long as only one system is studied. In the minds of such students there are no difficulties or inconsistencies to worry about. The attitude can then well be that really there cannot be any serious divergences because surely the source of data, the main outlines of the Esoteric Science, are common to both systems, therefore discrepancies are likely to be trivial and really inconsiderable. This attitude is not really tenable but it is one generally held by those who have studied nothing but second generation literature. Moreover, it is this second generation literature which has become the commonly accepted one throughout the Adyar Society and generally in the world at large.

I have devoted part of my research to religious therapy, circumscribing within the religious field a domain which I typified and called “Healing Churches”. The first religions in my sample, Invitation to life and Christian Science, are Christian. The others are not: Antoinism stems from spiritism, Universal Alliance from Georges Roux’s followers and Scientology’s doctrines seem to belong to esotericism. For this reason, my interest in spiritual therapy was oriented towards esotericism, in order to assess the case of therapy and psyche within this “form of thought”. Of course, esotericism is not a healing religion since it is not a religion.
