RESEARCH HIGHLIGHTS 1. A team leader in breeding and larval rearing of clownfishes and damselfishes. 2. Barcoded clownfishes and elasmobranchs from Indian waters and have done phylogeography and boundaries. 3. Scaled up the mass scale production of clownfishes upto marketable size and extended the technology to the coastal community and fisheries officials of the community. 4. Monitored the pollution status of Lakshadweep Sea by determining the heavy metal accumulation in marine organisms. 5. Evaluated the nutritional quality of food fishes of Lakshadweep Sea. 6. Independent writing ability of scientific documents, manuscripts, expertise in MS-Office and other computer applications. ❖ Worked in a research project entitled “Development of technology for hatchery production of marine gastropods and ornamental fishes: Sea ranching and technology transfer to coastal and island communities in Lakshadweep and Gulf of Mannar islands” as Junior Research Fellow during May 2008 - April 2010 and Senior Research Fellow during May 2010 – July 2010.

❖ Worked as a Senior Research Fellow from August 2010 to June 2011 in a research project entitled “Integrating marine ornamental fish conservation and sustainable development: Captive breeding, technology popularization and sea ranching in Gulf of Mannar Biosphere Reserve”.

❖ Worked as a Junior Research Fellow from June 2013 to October 2013 in a research project entitled “Resources assessment and barcoding of elasmobranchs” in Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute, Kochi. ❖ PADI (Australia) certified open water diver (Diver no. 1003AT6775).
