It was a normal day for 62-year-old Eddie Meadows. He was out for a jog in the woods Thursday near the UCF main cam­ pus when he took what he· thought was a shortcut. Little did he know that a routine jog would turn into a four-day battle with nature. · · The long-time Florida Orienteering member spoke to family, friends, co-work-. ers and a plethora of media Tuesday at the Florida Hospital East Orlando.
