Schedule for Fr.Terry’s Funeral Liturgies – October 18-20 Because of the restrictions placed upon us by the government in regard to Covid19 we have devised a plan to enable as many people as possible to pay their own tribute to Fr.Terry which we hope will be acceptable. Sunday October 18 - 5.00pm: Sunday Mass in Market Bosworth. This will replace the Saturday evening Mass for this week only. 6.00pm – Fr.Terry’s body will be brought into the church for people to come and make an individual socially distanced visit until 8.45pm, when there will be Night Prayer with Churches Together. People may be present socially distanced in the car park. 12.30pm – cortege leaves for Earl Shilton cemetery. If you wish to stand on the route to pay your own tribute, please do so. We will be travelling up the A47, through Earl Shilton to Church Street and then right onto Chapel street and into Mill Lane. If you wish to gather in the cemetery, please do not park immediately near it so as to give the opportunity for family mourners and guests to park within the cemetery gates. 1.00pm – Funeral rites in Earl Shilton cemetery. If you wish to bring a rose with you and put it in Father’s grave, we are sure he would like that! All the visiting will need to be stewarded, so if you can help please contact Pauline Reading for Market Bosworth, Kevin Mullan for Earl Shilton and Marina Brooks for Hinckley Memorial to Fr.Terry – there will be several ways of expressing our love and thanks for Fr.Terry which we hope to place into a book for his family and the parish archive. You can write your own message and place it in the box provided in church or go online to [email protected] Wednesday reflection on YouTube will be replaced by the recordings of Fr.Terry’s funeral liturgies and will be available on Monday late evening and Tuesday afternoon
