Condition Reports We aim to ensure all lots are described accurately. If, though, you require a condition report on a particular lot, please email your request to [email protected]. We wish to emphasise, the majority of the lots that feature in this auction are currently being held in secure storage. Accordingly, we will only be in a position to provide condition reports with effect from 10am on Saturday 21 October. It would be helpful if you could provide us with a (mobile) telephone number to enable us to ring you with the information you require and respond to any further questions you may have. Telephone Bids Please ring Stacey’s Auctioneers on 01268 777122 if you wish to arrange a live bid via telephone. We have eight lines available per lot on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. Please note, the deadline for arranging a telephone bid is 9.30am on Monday 23 October. Unsold lots We will, during the course of the auction, be providing details of all unsold lots, together with the post-hammer sale price. If you are interested in purchasing any of the items that remain unsold, please contact us by no later than the end of the auction. Please note, under no circumstances will unsold lots be available for sale following the auction. Our commitment to you As we approach our tenth Public Auction, we would like to take this opportunity to remind you of our commitment to you. Our aim is to ensure our location, business support, in-house care, catalogue and general quality of service to our clients (sellers and buyers alike), are what you would expect from a 21st Century Auction House. For those of you who have attended any of our previous auctions, we know you will be familiar with the generous level of space available in the auction hall to enable you to undertake viewing in a comfortable environment. There are plenty of tables and chairs and items of a particularly valuable nature can be viewed in the glass cabinets situated in the hall. Stacey’s are situated in the middle of Rayleigh, within easy reach of the shops. If, though, it is refreshments you are seeking, we will have a complimentary snack bar available in the hall. We will be supplying hot and cold drinks, along with sandwiches, all of which are available free of charge as a gesture of our gratitude for your continued support – hopefully, not the sole reason why we have become one of the most highly regarded and best attended Football Auction Houses in the country! The date of our next auction is Monday 30 April 2018. This will include Part 2 of the Tony Cottee collection. We have already commenced lotting and items will be available to view on www. staceyauction.com from the beginning of November. This will be updated on a weekly basis. Accordingly, if you have items that you wish to consign for our next auction, please let us have them as soon as possible in order to ensure maximum coverage. Please note, the deadline for submission of items for sale is 28 February 2018. This will allow us time to list the item(s) accurately and ensure they feature under the most appropriate category within the catalogue. On a personal note, I would once again like to thank Roger Ambrose for his help, both before and after the final hammer and to Laurie Rampling photographer from Action Rewind who took the photos when we met up with Malcolm MacDonald especially for the great cover shot. I would also like to extend my sincere gratitude to those of you who have kindly consigned lots to this auction and who have recommended Football Wanted to other friends and colleagues. It is very much appreciated. Enjoy the auction!
