These routes CAN BE FULLY are signposted as a general rule and in most cases, intermodal transport is also available (train + bike or bus + bike), or there are EXPLORED BY BIKE car parks near the starting and arrival points. Moreover, these routes are relatively easy and offer maximum safety. They rarely have stretches on public roads and mostly run along cycle paths, limited-access roads or easily-rideable dirt roads. Their lengths are proportional to the distance that children aged 8 to 10 can quite easily travel (about 20-30 km) without getting too tired. If you are travelling with younger children, you can also opt to complete part of the marked routes, as the total length of these does not exceed 10-15 km. Last but not least, all of the suggested routes pass through landscapes, small towns and environmental areas that make the bike rides even more enjoyable and fun for the whole family. In this way, you will be able to explore the beauties of Friuli- Venezia Giulia whilst cycling together in the open air. You will discover places steeped in history, unspoiled nature and art, and also be able to stop and try the typical flavours of this unique area. So what are you waiting for? Get ready to fasten your helmets!
