Today we are off on our Biblical journey to the Ark Encounter and Creation Muse- WEDNESDAY um located in Northern Kentucky. We will have a chance to get acquainted with OCTOBER 21 our fellow travelers as we make our way to our hotel. It is located in the Riverfront area of Covington, KY, just across the River from Cincinnati. After getting settled, we enjoy dinner on the Ohio River. (D)

Find out the answers to these questions and more at the amazing Ark Encounter. We drive the short distance to Williamstown, KY, then travel back in time on a scenic ride through a beautiful valley and across a bridge. As we turn the corner, the towering Ark comes into view. It is a full-sized reconstruction of Noah’s Ark, making it the largest timber-frame structure in the world. Stretching more than 1 1/2 football fields in length, the sheer size will amaze us. Dozens of exhibits within this unique attraction will bring to life the biblical account of Noah’s life before and during the flood. Spot some of the exotic animals at the Ararat Ridge Zoo. Relax, enjoy the view, and lunch in the casual two- story restaurant (food coupon included). Returning to Covington, we are in for a treat at the Hofbrauhaus. Modeled after the 400+ year-old Hofbrau- haus in Munich, Germany, it is the first in America. We begin with a brewery tour and tasting, followed by a delicious dinner featuring German fare, and live music in the Bier Hall. As the day comes to an end, we return to our nearby hotel. The state-of-the-art 70,000 square foot mu- OCTOBER 23 seum brings the pages of the Bible to life, casting its characters and animals and placing them in familiar settings. Adam and Eve live in the Garden of Eden. Majestic murals provide a backdrop for many of the settings. So many things to see and do there in addition to the exhib- its...watch the show at Stargazer’s Planetarium, take in the three theatre presentations, stroll through the many areas of the botanical gardens, and lunch is included at your leisure. Mid-afternoon we travel to Indianapolis, arriving in time for a light supper and beverages at our hotel. *Optional din- ner theatre at Beef & Boards with performance of Phantom. Located in St. John, IN is The Shrine of Christ’s Passion, a multi-media, interactive, winding prayer trail that depicts the last days of Jesus Christ’s life. Forty life-size bronze sculptures in a tranquil setting, complete with beautiful music and amazingly manicured gardens, allow us to reflect on the story of the crucifixion and resurrection.
