MATCH 7 – BLACKHAWKS VS. Drake Caggiula & Alex DeBrincat (CHI) vs. Blake Lizotte and Michael Amadio (LAK)

* DeBrincat’s hockey resume includes an OHL championship, two medals at major international tournaments, a CHL Player of the Year Award, an OHL MVP and one as the OHL leader in both goals and points.

* In 2018-19, DeBrincat (21 years, 100 days) became the second-youngest player in Blackhawks history to reach the 40- mark in a season (behind : 21 years, 65 days on March 23, 1991).

* DeBrincat has four NHL hat tricks to his credit, including three as a rookie in 2017-18 – the most ever by a rookie for Chicago.

* According to the OHL, DeBrincat has the most goals by an American in league history (167). In 2016- 17, he became the second player in OHL history to score 50 goals in three consecutive seasons (Dale McCourt is the other). DeBrincat also shares the OHL record for consecutive games with a goal, at 19 (tied with ).

* Caggiula won a championship in his final season before embarking on his professional hockey career, earning tournament MVP as the University of North Dakota won the NCAA title in 2015-16. He scored twice in the NCAA national championship game, a 5-1 victory against Quinnipiac.

* Caggiula ranked among the top 10 in NCAA Division 1 scoring during the 2015-16 season, with 51 points in 39 games.

* In his first full NHL season, Lizotte leads Kings rookies in scoring with 6-17—23. He signed as a free agent with the Kings on April 2, 2019 and made his NHL debut four days later in the club’s season finale against the Golden Knights.

* Prior to joining the Kings, Lizotte played two seasons at St. Cloud State and helped the Huskies claim the top spot in the NCHC regular season in both 2017-18 and 2018-19.

* Lizotte spent two seasons with the of the USHL, leading the team in scoring with 19-46--65 in 2016-17, good for second in the league.

* Amadio is in his first full NHL season and fourth with the Kings organization. Drafted by the Kings in the third round of the 2014 NHL Draft, Amadio made his professional debut during the 2016 AHL postseason, contributing 1-4—5 in 11 games to help the Reign reach the Conference Finals against eventual champion Lake Erie.

MATCH 8 – VS. Madison Bowey (DET) vs. (MIN)

* Bowey won a championship in his final season before embarking on his professional hockey career, in 2014-15 as of the of the WHL.

* Though he has yet to appear in a game during the Playoffs, Bowey has his name on the Cup after playing 51 games for the Capitals during the 2017-18 regular season.

* Ahead of the 2013 NHL Draft, Bowey credited his father, Will, who played professional hockey in Europe, as having the biggest influence on his career: “He taught me everything when I was younger and was always there to support me through my highs and lows.”

* Dubnyk is in his 11th NHL season and sixth with Minnesota, where he settled as a starter during a memorable 2014-15 campaign.

* Dubnyk received the Masterton Trophy in 2014-15 after a remarkable second-half run. Eight points outside of a playoff spot when he made his team debut on Jan. 15, Dubnyk backstopped the Wild – his fifth NHL organization in the past two seasons at the time – to their third consecutive trip to the . Dubnyk set a franchise record with 38 straight starts following his acquisition from Arizona and went 27-9-2 with a 1.78 GAA, .936 SV% and five to begin his tenure with the Wild.

* Dubnyk was chosen by the Oilers with the 14th overall pick in the 2004 NHL Draft. One of four chosen in the first round that year, only four goalies have been selected higher than him since that draft including Al Montoya who went sixth overall that year to the Rangers. The others: (5th in 2005), (11th in 2006) and Jack Campbell (11th in 2010).

* Among goalies drafted in 2004, Dubnyk trails only in games played, starts, wins and shutouts. From 2014-15 to 2018-19, Dubnyk led all NHL goaltenders with 317 appearances.

MATCH 9 – VS. SEATTLE Caleb Jones and Darnell Nurse (EDM) vs. Luke Willson (Seattle Seahawks, NFL)

* Jones has appeared in a career-high 43 games with the Oilers in 2019-20 and is from a famous sporting family that includes his brother, , of the Blue Jackets and his father, , who played in the NBA for 11 seasons.

* Nurse ranks second on the Oilers with 23:27 time on ice per game and is also from a family of athletes. Nurse’s father, Richard, was a receiver for the CFL’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats; his uncle, Donavan McNabb, was a six-time Pro Bowl quarterback in the NFL; and his sisters have excelled in basketball with the oldest, Tamika, playing in the NCAA for Oregon and Bowling Green while younger sister, Kia, is a two- time NCAA champion and current member of the New York Liberty in the WNBA.

* Willson is a tight end for the Seattle Seahawks of the NFL and a Super Bowl champion who grew up a Maple Leafs fan while playing minor hockey in LaSalle, Ont.

* Jones is a two-time gold medal winner with the United States, winning at the 2015 Under-18 World Championship and the 2017 World Junior Championship.

* Jones took to hockey as a child when his father was playing for the Denver Nuggets. Caleb and his brothers started playing hockey after watching and the Avalanche teams of the early 2000s.

* Jones played some of his minor hockey, including his under-16 season, in Dallas before joining the USA Hockey National Team Development Program.

* Nurse helped Team win gold at the 2015 World Junior Championship.

* Nurse recorded NHL career-highs for goals (10), assists (31) and points (41) in 2018-19.

* Nurse has played over 30 minutes – more than half – of a regular-season game five times in his career and most recently in a 2-1 overtime win over Dallas on March 3.

* Willson was a Maple Leafs fan growing up and his favorite players included Mats Sundin, Darcy Tucker and Tie Domi.

* In 2013, Willson had two receptions in Super Bowl 48 to help the Seahawks win the Super Bowl for the first time in franchise history. Seattle’s 43-8 win over Denver that year was the largest margin of victory by an underdog in Super Bowl history and tied for the third-highest margin of victory overall.
