OUR STORY

Welcome to E. Street Bar & Grill, an elegant yet accessible restaurant and events venue. Set in a beautifully restored 17th century building, we can be found on New Street in Petworth, a charming West market town.

With an airy, modern yet timeless ambiance, our selection of private and semi-private rooms are available to book for parties, meetings and gatherings of all kinds. Our cellars are stocked with top quality local and international wines, and our menus feature the best offerings of our local producers here in . Our goal is to provide top-quality food and perfect service, without pretension.

Whether you are booking a shooting party lunch in the rustic elegance of the Stag Room, a business gathering in the private Woodcock Room or an engagement party in the quiet opulence of the semi-private Blue Room or Lounge (which can be combined with the main floor of the restaurant), we hope you will find that our rooms add a touch of comfort and sophistication to your event. 2 3

THE STAG ROOM

Presided over by a twenty-point stag from the Mereworth Estate, with antique chandeliers from a Roman cathedral descending from its high wood-beamed ceilings and plenty of natural light from the recessed leaded-glass windows, the Stag Room provides a rustic yet elegant setting for any event. A cosy space with a merrily crackling fire, the boardroom-style Woodcock Room is a perfect spot for meetings or meals, with a large table that can accommodate up to 10 guests. WOODCOCK ROOM 10 PAX

THE FOOD

We pride ourselves on using only the best local ingredients for every dish, supporting our excellent range of producers here in West Sussex. Whether you are looking for a selection of light refreshments and snacks for your guests or a full sit-down meal, we have a menu to suit.

We kindly ask that groups of 10 or more select a set menu for their private dining experience with us. Please select one menu for the whole party, then provide individual orders 2 weeks before your event date. If you prefer, you may choose one dish from each course for the whole party, to avoid having to take pre-orders.

Bespoke menus are also available for your event. We offer the host the opportunity to discuss their requirements with the chef, who can produce a specially tailored menu.

FAQ

IS THERE A MINIMUM SPEND TO BOOK THE SPACE? A minimum spend applies to all events in the Stag Room and the Woodcock Room. There is no minimum spend in the Blue Room or the Lounge. Please note that an optional service charge of 14% will be in addition to the minimum spend requirement.

IS THERE A ROOM HIRE FEE? We only charge a room rental fee if the minimum spend is not met.

DO I NEED TO PAY A BOOKING DEPOSIT? We charge a deposit of £25 per person. This deposit is due within 7 days of the date you make your booking. If it is not paid, your provisional booking will be released.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY? You may cancel your booking and receive a full refund up to 14 days prior to your event, or cancel up to 7 days prior to your event for a refund of 50% of your deposit. Cancellations made 7 or fewer days prior to the booking date will forfeit the deposit.

WHAT IF MY GUEST NUMBERS CHANGE? You will have a chance to finalise guest numbers one week prior to your event.

ARE YOU ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS? Please mention any dietary restrictions when you are making your booking, and we will be happy to accommodate you. Our set menus feature several vegetarian options. 20
