Fortis College in Indianapolis, Indiana made a generous donation of gloves and masks to Community Rehab Hospital North. Their thoughtful gift helped us protect our patients, our team members, and our communities from exposure to COVID-19.

File This Under Being Kinder Than Expected

Barb Flickinger, Director of Human Resources at MercyOne Clive Rehabilitation Hospital in Clive, Iowa, took it upon herself to sew headbands for her team members to help relieve the stress put on clinicians’ ears by protective masks. Mask straps can be hung on buttons on the sides of the headbands. This side project, done at night by Barb at her home, is a chic example of a team member being kinder than expected.
