This library is the centre and heart of this community. There is a place here for everyone. French Greek Then and Now Westown Branch Library opened in the former Westown Shopping Plaza in 1963 with 1,160 square feet. In 1970 it relocated within the plaza and increased in size to 2,500 square feet. In 1984 the branch again relocated in the mall, growing to 5,500 square feet including a multipurpose room which allowed for regular programming for the first time. The size was expanded by 966 square feet in 1984. In 2001, the branch, relocated to the east end of the Cherryhill Village Mall, grew to 10,225 square feet with two community meeting rooms. Its name was changed to Cherryhill Branch Library.
