Catalog and Bibliography of Longhorned Beetles from Borneo (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) Daniel J. Heffern - Electronic Version, 2005.1 Abstract The genus-group and species-group names for Cerambycidae occuring in Borneo are summarized. All genus-group names, including synonyms and subgenera, are given with their type species. All species-group names and synonyms, specify their original genus. For each species and subspecies from Borneo, their extralimital distributions are included, if applicable. Citations are presented for each name. References for identification keys and illustrations are cited, if available. Complete bibliographies for all cited references are given. There are no proposed changes to nomenclature. Comments about biogeography and taxonomic problems are given. Species that are excluded from the Bornean fauna are listed. An index is included for all genus-group names. Longhorned beetles include the family Cerambycidae, although some taxonomists treat certain subfamilies as families. In this catalog, the work of Lawrence and Newton (1995) is followed which recognizes thirteen subfamilies in the world: Oxypeltinae, Disteniinae, Philinae, Anoplodermatinae, Parandrinae, Prioninae, Spondylidinae, Vesperinae, Apatophyseinae, Necydalinae, Lepturinae, Cerambycinae and Lamiinae. There has been, and certainly will always be disagreement on the number and relationships of these subfamilies.

Key words New locality, longhorn beetles, China, Oriental ___________________________ Introduction During the process of preparing a popular science writing named “A Photographic Guide to Longhorn beetles of China”, a lot of ecological photos were gathered for choice. The author picked up 300 species for identification. Some ecological photos were taken from new localities. These new localities were added to the distribution list in that book without any marking. On the one hand, few taxonomists or scientific researchers will cite the popular science book. On the other hand, the popular science book is written in only Chinese so the new information is difficult to be known by non-Chinese readers. There - fore, the new localities are reported in this paper, which should be published before the printing of the book. Except for the ecological photos, some related specimens in Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IZAS) were studied and pictured. Some species with new localities but not included in the photographic guide book are also reported in this paper. The species order follows Catalogue of Palaearctic Coleoptera, Vol. 6. (Löbl & Smetana, 2010). The references about the genera or tribe, and the synonyms and combinations of each species are ignored in this paper, though the citation of each species comprised of them.

Abstract: The Catalogue includes all 505 Cerambycidae species of Nepal fauna known up to 2019 with the references to the original descriptions and regional records; 52 species are newly recorded for Nepal fauna. The present work follows the previous publications on Afghanistan and Bhutan Cerambycidae, and is an attempt to summarize all data published up to now on Cerambycidae of Nepal fauna. The last general contribution to the fauna of the country was published by Weigel (2010) in the Palaearctic Cerambycidae Catalogue by Löbl & Smetana (2010). Besides we received several messages on newly collected materials from E. Kučera (all specimens identified by C.Holzschuh are preserved in his E. Kučera’s collection in Soběslav, Czech Republic) and from S. Murzin (all specimensa are preserved in his collection, Moscow). Now 52 species were added to the previously published Catalogue (Löbl & Smetana, 2010). subfamily Disteniinae J. Thomson, 1861 tribe Cyrtonopini Gressitt, 1940 genus Cyrtonops A.
