JARRET STOLL ENDOWMENT HITS $1 MILLION FOR ROYAL UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL

Homegrown hockey star, of the LA Kings, has hit $1 million in ! Thanks to the golfers, sponsors and NHL players, the Jarret Stoll Celebrity Golf Classic 2011 raised $250,000, taking the six-year total for the popular golf tournament to $1 million for Royal University Hospital.

Proceeds from the annual tournament are invested in the Jarret Stoll Patient Comfort Fund Endowment for Children at RUH, which funds the purchase of many items important to the care and comfort of children and their families while in the hospital. The endowment is held by the Royal University Hospital Foundation.

The tournament teed off on June 23rd with an autograph session at River Landing hosted by the Presenting Sponsor, Saskatoon & Region Home Builders’ Association. The fun moved to the Sheraton Cavalier for the evening dinner and auction, where more than $160,000 was raised by auctioning NHL memorabilia and the opportunity to golf with an NHL star. Friday, June 24 th , golfers hit the links at Moonlake Golf & Country Club.
