M ē Ta Wē Tān 2013 Resource Directory www.saskatoon.ca Look under “M” for Mē Ta Wē Tān Tansi, The Mē Tā Wē Tan Resource Directory provides a listing of programs and services that is available to the Aboriginal and non Aboriginal community in the Saskatoon. This resource guide has served to be of benefit to the community for many years and continues to grow as new organizations request their programs to be listed. The purpose of this service is to provide this information to the community that works in human services with Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people living in Saskatoon. The Booklet provides the names of program services, phone numbers and in some cases the names of providers and web sites. The MeTaWeTan Resource Directory is FREE to Saskatoon residents. It is available on the City of Saskatoon website and can also be emailed upon request. Hard copies are also available upon request. The directory provides: 1. A list of emergency numbers, services and contact numbers are listed in the Booklet. 2. A list of cultural program instructors, presenters, elders, Aboriginal dances, arts & crafts instructors, and other resources. 3. A list of agencies that work within: sport, recreation, culture, health and education, and other services. 4. A list of First Nations & Métis organizations, First Nations Bands, Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations, Saskatchewan Tribal Councils, First Nations Urban Services, and the Aboriginal Friendship Centre of Saskatchewan. 5.
