CERACELL ROUND COMB HONEY SYSTEM Comb Honey is a great way to harvest that delicious liquid gold. Comb honey is growing in popularity in New Zealand.
It is ideal for the hobbyist and small commercial operator because it removes the need for extracting the honey. And what could be more appealing than a clean capped comb of honey!
Remember, if you’re in the North or Upper South Island, to avoid tutin toxin in your honey, you must harvest your WHY IT WORKS? st comb honey before the 31 of December each year. There are two main reasons why the round comb honey system is very successful. Firstly, bees prefer to fill round spaces. And, secondly we start them with beeswax founda- tion rather than beeswax coated plastic impressions. This gets them drawing comb faster. Simple as that.
