Constitution of the Louisiana Municipal Association Article The name of this body shall be the Louisiana Municipal Association. It shall have its domicile or main office in Baton Rouge. 1 Article The objects of this Association are to promote and to protect the rights and interests of the cities, towns, and villages of the State of Louisiana; to promote the 2 welfare of the citizens of said municipalities; to improve the administration of public municipal affairs; to assist in solving problems that are common to municipalities; to cooperate in securing the enactment of proper laws by the legislature for the general good of municipalities.
