Public Works: After the winter we have experienced, Council wishes to express its appreciation to the Public Works Crew. They have done an excellent job clearing roads and allowing safe travel for residents. Please take note, on March 15th, half load limits are in effect on the Municipal Roadways. Limit five tonnes per axel.

Municipal By-law Enforcement: is ongoing through the use of Frontenac By-law Enforcement Services. Some of the areas that have been identified as being a concern are trailers, signage, illegal parking and unauthorized disposal of waste material.

With assistance from and RTO9, the Shuttle Bus for Big Sandy Bay will once again be offered. We were very pleased with the results in 2018 and are confident that the ridership will increase in 2019. The Ferry by Foot Program also proved to be an excellent opportunity to promote and showcase the unique village of Marysville. We are truly blessed with local entrepreneurs, talented artisans and a wealth of musical ability.
