June 25, 2018, Issue 607 Morning Producer Hat Trick (Pt. 2) Producers of active, multidimensional radio shows – particularly those in morning drive – wear a variety of hats. The best, as illus- trated in part one of this series, are all-in-one content developers, social media gurus, audio and video editors, project managers and even talent coaches. That’s fertile ground for developing programmers and on-air talent, of course, which is why this week Country Aircheck enlists exactly those people to share their perspective on the position. Here they cover the nature of the producer/talent relationship, effective hiring practices and how to get the most of out the gig.
