Higher Secondary(Science)--Ist division : …1974 ** Ph. D. thesis was done in the area (upper Catchment area of basin) which is the south-easterly extension of Chhotanagpur Plateau (eastern India) and which has been suffered by 3 phases of granitic activity and tectonism during Precambrian. Two shear zones pass through the northern and southern part of the study area. Major rock types are granite genesis and migmatite, composite gneis, metasedimentaries etc. The most conspicuous landscape feature is the presence of planner surfaces, which has been developed mainly at 3 elevations. The present land-sculpture is a product of Tertiary and younger periods. Evidence of older fluvial systems support that the land-sculpture is of polycyclic development. The work has been mainly concentrated on landform and drainage basin morphology in connection to geology, tectonics and to some extent climate. Land and water resources studies have also been conducted. Advanced Training,Refresher Course and Workshops Participated: 1. Model Training Course on “Environmental Resource Management For Sustainable Agriculture” held at IARI New Delhi-110012–sponsored by Dir. of Extn.,Min.of Agriculture, GOI,. 23rd-30th October 2013.(Also presented a talk on ―Pasture landuse and related water harvesting‖). 2.
