2009 Oregon State Baseball •  Oregon State Facts 2009 Oregon State Regional Notes Location Corvallis, Oregon Enrollment 20,100 Beavers In A Regional Again Founded 1868 Oregon State will be making its fourth trip to an NCAA Regional in five years when the Beavers President Dr. Edward Ray head to Fort Worth to play host TCU, Texas A&M and Wright State. Oregon State has played Wright State just once, winning 5-3, in the opening game of the 2006 2009 Season Corvallis Regional. He went 9-1, winning his last six decisions. Gaviglio’s Radio Beaver Sports Network 2.84 ERA was the best amongst the team’s starters during the regular season and he finished the Flagship Stations KEJO 1240-AM (Corvallis) campaign tied for second in wins. Offen- sively, Jared Norris finished second on the team with a .333 batting average and contributed three home runs and 32 RBI. Adalberto Santos was third on the club with a .317 batting average and also finished with four home runs and 43 RBI. Stefen Romero led OSU with 46 RBI.

Newcomers - Pitching Outside of Gaviglio, Tyler Waldron proved to be OSU’s biggest addition, finishing the regular sea- son with a 6-3 record, 3.84 ERA and 66 strikeouts in a team-leading 89 innings.
