Radio 104.5’s Presents Tanlines and IAMDYNAMITE at Campus Philly’s College Day 2012

Philadelphia, Pa. – September 7, 2012 – Radio 104.5, Philly’s Alternative, announced today a free concert as part of Campus Philly College Day 2012 on Saturday, September 29, along the Ben Franklin Parkway. Radio 104.5 will present live performances by Tanlines and IAMDYNAMITE at College Day 2012, the welcome back festival event for area college students.

College Day 2012 will also offer free museum admission, food and recreation art, including the Art Village presented by InLiquid Art + Design. In addition, the event will feature the Involvement Fair presented by Generocity, activities with the Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA), Philadelphia food trucks curated by Night Market Philadelphia, a project of The Food Trust and participation from local and national organizations like IKEA, Comcast Xfinity and the Philadelphia Orchestra. The Radio 104.5 College Day 2012 free concert is sponsored by Scion.

College Day 2012 will feature Tanlines, the Brooklyn duo whose music combines progressive electro jams with tropical pop. Tanlines debuted their extended play (EP) Settings on True Panther Records. IAMDYNAMITE, who recently performed at Radio 104.5 Summer Block Party, will also perform at the live music event. IAMDYNAMITE's debut album SUPERMEGAFANTSTIC was released this year on Brando Records.

Students from Campus Philly’s 26 college and university partners are heavily represented at College Day each year, and the organization attracts students from schools outside the region including Princeton, Kutztown and Pittsburgh.
