I’ve done my research on Jimmie Rodgers and the Carter Family, but I don’t know anything about Mr. Dalhart. • An “important” piece of music you just don’t get: Why is it so important for platinum country artists to cover AC/DC, Guns N’ Roses or Metallica in concert? I don’t get it. If you’re selling a million albums, save your biggest hit for the encore instead.
