ROLE OF THE SITE

In response to the global COVID-19 pandemic, The District Services Board and Red Lake Margaret Cochenour Memorial Hospital in collaboration with our community partners have established an Emergency Isolation Centre to respond to the potential risk of local transmission of COVID-19. The Centre is open for individuals who do not have a place to self-isolate or quarantine while they await test results or if they test positive for COVID-19.

COMMUNITY PARTNERS

The Centre is a collaborative effort of community partners, including the Municipality of Red Lake, Red Lake Open 24/7 Employment Office Ontario Provincial When residents Police, Red Lake Indian Friendship are in -house Centre, Red Lake Area Emergency Shelter, New Starts Women’s Shelter, Northwest Health Unit, the Red Lake Family Health Team, AND Community Counselling and Addiction Services. ELIGIBILITY REGISTRATION Individuals are eligible to attend the Isolation Centre Registrations are being accepted from 7:00 am to Midnight. if they do not have the resources or a safe place to Call 728-3026 prior to arrival. stay for self-isolation or quarantine.
