Community Highlights

Of the six populated reserves within the Lac Athabasca La Ronge Indian Band, Stanley Mission has the most membership with around 1400 people. The community is situated on the banks of the majestic Churchill River system Boreal in Northern , about 80 West kilometers north east of La Ronge, or 310 kilometers north of Prince Albert. The community boasts the oldest building in Churchill Saskatchewan – the Holy Trinity Church.1 River Local Government
