1 PUBLIC HEARING

1.1 PUBLIC HEARING BY RSPCB, ALWAR

Public Hearing for the proposed Greenfield International Airport near Bhiwadi was organized by Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board (RSPCB), Alwar as per EIA notification 2006 and its amendments to invite people to participate in the meeting for their suggestion/query about the proposed project.

Public Hearing was held on September 12, 2018 at Government Preves Sanskrit School, Ladpur Village, Tehsil, . The advertisement for Public Hearing was published in Rajasthan Patrika (Hindi regional daily) in Alwar edition, Hindustan Times (National English daily) in all India editions, and in Mint (National English daily). In addition to the published advertisements in papers, local people were intimated about the Public Hearing in the form of announcement, which was carried out in all the affected 14 villages on September 10, 2018. These details are shown in Figure 1.1.

The minutes of the Public Consultation was prepared by RSPCB, Alwar and submitted to the Member Secretary, RPCB, as enclosed at Annexure 1.1. The photographs of the Public Hearing are given at Figure 1.2. The suggestions/queries made by the various stakeholders are mentioned briefly in Table 1.1, which are incorporated in the EIA report.
