Appointment Requirements: To understand and accept The Scout Association’s polices, have a satisfactory CRB clearance, completion of a wood badge, which includes the achievement of the Section Leader specific Modules as detailed in the Adults Personal File and The Scout Association’s Adult Training Scheme. “Specific” Tasks Agreed with the County “General” Main Tasks Scout Network Commissioner • To be a focal point for the members of the Scout Network within a designated part of the County • To be responsible for areas of the Programme as defined by the County Scout Network Commissioner • To assist Scout Networks in delivering and accessing a balanced programme in conjunction with Scout Network Co-ordinators • To act as a link between the Scout Network and designated Districts, in particular the
linking process between Explorer Scouts and Scout Network. • To assist the County Scout Network Administrator in keeping up to date membership details • To promote the use of Certificates of
Achievement. • To encourage members of the Scout Network to undertake Awards and to assist members in accessing varied opportunities. • To work with Training Adviser to complete
Adult Training • To carry out self review
