My role as a coach, is to create an engaging training environment that develops athletes in a way where they are able to utilize the tools provided to discover what works for them in the pursuit of excellence

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING COACH JACKSON CHEUNG Jackson Cheung is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a working sprints/hurdle coach in Track and Field. His primary capacity is in developing speed and power ability for all sports. As an athlete he was a ranked number one junior hurdler in Canada, along with being named to provincial and national teams. I am about being athlete-centered. I depend on athletes giving me information to know where to go. Recognizing this autonomy and voice of the athlete is crucial to my practice as the many teenagers I work with are made better by self-expression and independence. I aim for athletes to understand how they are physically and what it takes to get where they want. My primary goal is to give athletes what they need, when they can handle it.
