During your fifth semester you will be introduced to the overall basics for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Design Thinking; - yourself. Secondly you’ll be ideating your ideas and introduced to the StartUp and the IdeaCreation-Module.

The subject StartUp is divided into two modules. In module 1, the focus will be on the student’s own skills and motivations.

In September, you’ll be introduced to Design for Change. The subjects are Social Design, Cirkular Economy, Sustainable Design, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in a societal context.

In October our “Creative SpeedCamp” is due. Two weeks of intense and focused work for ARLA Foods, together with VIA Links: Film & Transmedia and other creative students. During your sixth semester you will be testing your concept, using user-driven innovation and methods from Lean Start Up, Value Proposition Design, and Customer Development, to test if your businesscase is sustainable.

In Business Development, students learn to generate plans for the company that can be implemented. They also prepare a company that can be founded based on these plans.

The importance of networks, financial and juridical matters, dealing with budgets, and risk management are a few of the subject areas you learn to deal with.

During this semester you’ll spend time in your internship - as the only study, you’re able to have your internship in your own business. We also do a study trip 2 weeks - in 2015 / 16 we visited Start-Ups and universities in New York.

You will also get affiliated with some of our project- and competitive partners; The Danish National Entrepreneurship Award, CareWare Innovation. Hopefully you will be amongst the qualified participants in the national competitions, and thereby participate in the events over Spring and Summer. 7’ semester, implementation testing, ACTION, launch, B.A EXAM...

In the course Action you’ll be focusing on launching the project / business case and find models to scale and growth the project/business. You will also work with sales, sales techniques and different approaches to the sales process, and develop a possible growth strategy regarding your concept.

The aim is to sharpen, prepare and help you be an independ- ent business, no matter if you’ll be working as a team, for a company or as a ‘single’ entrepreneur. We will try guiding you through your approach, no matter if it is social, sustainable, autonomous or plain commercial.

We highly recommend you to have multiple projects during your study, as well as teaming up with other students, educa- tional institutions and business are crucial for your succes.
