However, final name of the VDCs and beneficiaries yet to be received.

2. AOB  Database Management: Some new agencies have carried out activities related to food security in the district but there is lack of formal contact with the Food Security Cluster as such.

 Material or Cash Support? Discussion was held regarding some agencies reporting difficulty and limitation in transporting the food materials to remote places in a large volume at a time. It is also due to road access to such areas for mass transport. An alternative would be to provide cash for purchasing food was sought. DADO reported that the matter was discussed with CDO and soon will be discussed and finalized at DDRC level. OCHA is organizing a sharing meeting on Cash coordination group to support cash for work/food/multipurpose cash.

 Seed Distribution DADO highlighted the status of rice seed distributed, varieties and the season. He requested the Partner agencies to limit the rice seed distribution regarding season for seed nursery and quality and variety of the seed available for distribution. Instead DADO has requested the support organization to support in Vegetable Seeds and Animal Feed. FAO has distributed 5000 super grain storage bags for safe storage of seeds in the earthquake area.

3. Decision made CARITAS should identify other VDC where support is required. It is suggested to coordinate with WFP to identify the other VDC to support instead of Dhuskun VDC. Rice seed distribution should be not on priority better to mobilize resources for vegetable seed distribution. For this DADO will explore for seed source available if requested by the agencies, The meeting schedule is revised to once a week on every Friday at 10:30 AM either at OCHA tent or Government tent based on availability of space in tents. However, it is subjected to change if required with prior information to partners. The next meeting has been scheduled on Friday at 10:30.
