The ProxiTrak© Design-First Tracking Area Builder User interface is composed of a hierarchy of presentation views that encapsulate groups of closely coupled related controls via dialogs. Each presentation view or interface is responsible for functionality, controls and events that handle a single or multiple task. Each presentation view and or dialog is responsible for initializing its basic controls and registering for data and events to be managed or displayed.

PROPRIETARY AND CONFIDENTIAL Page 3 of 30 Proximus Software Systems, Inc. User Interface Requirements Specifications 20705 Huntsville Hwy, Fayetteville TN 377334 PSS-UI V4.5 ProxiTrak© Rev 4.50 05/14/2015

Figure 2. User Interface Component Overview

This is the presentation view of both the windows application and web system encapsulating all user interfacing, display and visualization details.

3.1.1 Dialogs The dialogs contain user interface implementation and interface to and boundary with window display elements in parent screens. Dialogs are a proxy of hierarchy of increasingly detailed display elements containing specific sets of information that originate from the parent screen in many cases. In addition, some dialogs are responsible for processing user input events and data update events and associate various data elements within the system such as RFID tag, read and write events, antenna, zone and device data including real-time broadcasts and alerting (messages).

3.1.2 Screens The screens are the primary parent user interfaces encapsulating the dialog management implementation.

3.2 Task Model The ProxiTrak© Design-First Tracking Area Builder User Interface will utilize the single, main window user interface thread for processing all updates. This thread is started when the operating system launches the application. All events that are significant to the user interface will use this threads message queue to signal views. Significant events include timer completion, data change notification, barcode entry, keyboard, and mouse input.

4.0 User Interface Requirements This section describes all of the requirements that define the ProxiTrak© Design-First Tracking Area Builder User Interface including the ProxiTrak© Installer.

The layout of the operator screens will focus on ease of use, comprehension, and safety. The design will avoid elements that cover or hide information such as menus, popup dialogs, or, messages boxes. Simple controls like oversized buttons, radio boxes, check boxes, sliders, spin controls and selectable lists will be favored over edit controls that require typing in numbers or characters.

o All screens will be operable via a keyboard or mouse. o All operator information, cautions, warnings and errors are acknowledged with a text based status message. o All toolsets, tool strip menus, dropdown lists, buttons and text boxes will be disabled unless intended action is permissible. o If selectable list boxes, text boxes, or pictures contain more information than is permissible in the allotted panel space, scroll bars will be activated. o If the operator selects a panel or window by clicking a button, the selected panel or window will become active. o A selected panel will be displayed top most (index 0 which supersedes the previously opened window) on the Windows desktop.

4.1 System Installer ProxiTrak Installer is a leading installer that supports multilingual installs, including right-to-left language support. The installer will create a shortcut on the desktop, including in the Start Menu and on the desktop.

o Application allows the user to select RF power (percentage) to adjust programming antenna strength, rotation and elevation to rotate and/or elevate the antenna as it is physically oriented in your actual tracking environment as well as programming protocol and acquisition parameters.

NOTES:

o The application can ensure the RFID reader can successfully singularly denote a tag indicated by a blue background of the CurrentID . If the CurrentID label is red then a tag is not being read singularly and segregated from other tags or the tag simply is not position within the antenna read range.
