2006-07 — Named the Northeast10 Conference Player of the Year ... Named to the ESPN The Magazine District I Academic All-America® Team in recognition of both academic and athletic excellence…One of a mere 11 men’s basketball student-athletes to be honored…Was also chosen to the NE-10 All-Academic Team and to the NE-10 Commissioners Honor Roll… Chosen to the NE-10 weekly honor roll on two occasions (12/12/05 and 1/16/06)… Notched a career-high 36 points versus Pace (3/10/07) after going 10-for-10 from the free throw line…Twice handed out a career-best 11 assists (05-06) Finished this past season averaging 17.0 points per game and shooting 87% from the line and 42% from three.

2006-07 — A high flying playmaker that will be expected to produce big-time this year for the Terrapins… Played his high school senior season at Oak Hill Academy helping the Warriors to a 40-1 record, setting a record for single-season wins ... connected on 56 percent of his shots from the floor, and made 52 percent from beyond the three-point line ... played his junior season at St. Francis (Ga.) High School leading the squad to a 29-1 record during his junior campaign ... averaged 23.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 4.0 blocked shots as a junior ... named Defensive Player of the Year as a sophomore and junior ... garnered Athlete of the Year as a junior ... Region 1A First-Team All-State selection as during 2004-05

#02 Anthony Farmer 6-1 Jr. Guard Rutgers

2006-07 — Rutgers returns junior point guard Anthony Farmer, a BIG EAST All-Rookie Team selection as a freshman. His team-leading 124 assists in 2005-2006 ranked first among all BIG EAST freshmen. A poised, dynamic scorer, Farmer possesses tremendous strength which also allows him to be a physical and active defender. In high school, Farmer led St. Augustine Prep in scoring, assists and steals for three seasons and was regarded as one of the top 100 players in the nation as a senior by several scouting services. He is the leading scorer in school history with 1,709 career points. As a junior, Farmer was named MVP of the Parochial A state final after a 34-point outing vs Seton Hall Prep.

#04 Brett Harvey 6-0 So. Guard Loyola

2006-07 — Harvey has stepped in as a freshman and started in 30 of 31 games for the Greyhounds. Handed out a total of 129 assists this past season, while averaging 7.2 points per game. Before Loyola, a three-year starter at Clarkstown North HS, he compiled more than 1,000 points in his career ... averaged 22 points and seven assists per game as a senior ... an all- State Section I selection following that season, he was also named the Rockland County Player of the Year and to the Tri-County all-star first team ... named to the county all-star team following both his senior and junior seasons ... poured in a career-high 44 points against Lincoln HS ... selected to play in the Wheelchair Classic in New York City.

#14 Rio Pitt 6-8 Sr. Forward Stony Brook

2006-07 — Pitt, a bouncy 6’8” power forward, has established himself as a talented scorer and rebounder for the Seawolves in his freshman campaign… Posted 7 points and 5 rebounds against University of Albany (02-22-07)… Pitt finished the season with the team’s 2nd best field goal percentage (49%)… A smooth finisher around the basket with either hand, he will play a big role in Stony Brook’s success in 07-08. . . . was a McDonald All-American nominee in 2006 . . . honored as a Nike All-Canada selection… A standout at Our Savior New American in Centereach, N.Y. under head coach Ron Stelzer . . . averaged 10 ppg., 12 rpg., and 3 bpg. in his senior year

#21 Perry Stevenson 6-9 So. Forward Kentucky

2006-07 — Appeared in 33 of UK’s 34 games as a freshman… Shot a blistering 66% from the field for the season while averaging 10.0 minutes per game. Attended Northside High School in Lafayette, … 2005 Hall of Fame Game MVP ... 2005 Conference MVP ... Two-time all- state and three-time All-District ... Two-time ABCD Camp All-Star ... Averaged a triple-double his junior and senior years in high school, with 15 point, 11 rebounds, 10 blocks and four assists his senior year and 13 points per game, 10 rebounds, and 10 blocked shots his junior year ... Coached at Northside by Rick Lebato. Chose Kentucky over Tech, LSU, Miami (Fla.), , Texas Tech and Wake Forest.

#32 Jaron Griffin 6-7 Jr. Forward Rutgers

2006-07 — Jaron Griffin, a 6-7, 210-pound swingman, showed flashes of brilliance in his freshman campaign and emerged into a legitimate BIG EAST talent in 06-07. Had back to back performances of 18 points vs UCONN (02-03-07) and 19 points vs West (01-31-07) along with 2 separate 8 rebound performances this season. An explosive and athletic guard/forward, Griffin averaged 26.1 points and 12.9 rebounds for Manchester High School in his senior season. He was regarded as one of the top 100 players in the nation by several scouting services. Griffin ended his scholastic career as the leading scorer and rebounder in his school's history with 1,871 career points and 1,285 career rebounds.

#33 Alvin Bray 6-3 Sr. Guard St. Joseph’s

2006-07 — Alvin Bray, a 6-3 guard that helped St. Joseph’s College – Patchogue to unprecedented success in the 2005–2006 season... Coach John Mateyko sees Bray as a part of his foundation that helped the Golden Eagles reach the ECAC Tournament by 06-07… a team that produced All Metropolitan and All Conference Selections. Thought of so highly by students and administration alike, Bray has been a magnet for numerous organizations and clubs on campus… a leader both on and off the court., graduate of Brentwood High School… Attended V. E. Smith High School in Atlanta, Georgia… won two separate league championships while in Atlanta… named league’s Most Valuable Player in both leagues.

#34 Bryan Davis 6-9 So. Forward Texas A&M

2006-07 — Davis, a 6’9” Freshman Forward played in 31 games, gaining valuable experience… appearing in each NCAA Tournament game on their way to the Sweet 16…. At Grand Prarie High School Davis averaged 18.0 pts, 15.5 rebs, 3.4 blks and 3.1 ast as a senior...was twice named the city’s defensive player of the year... was a member of Team USA at the 2006 Global Games...played for the bronze-medal winning Red team at the 2005 USA Basketball Youth Development Festival...was ranked as the 47th best prospect in the country by Rivals.com and was ranked as high as No. 2 in the state by Texas Hoops…posted career highs of 37 points and a whopping 32 rebounds as a senior.

#35 Zach Peacock 6-8 Jr. Forward Georgia Tech 2006-07 — Frontcourt player who defends and can shoot the ball… Started the first nine games of the season… Had four double-figure scoring games... Scored 11 points, including a pair of threes, in a career- high 30 minutes of playing time Feb. 6 vs. NC State… Lettered four years at Norland High School in Miami, scoring more than 1,700 points in his career ... All-state in class 6A and state tournament MVP as a senior in 2006, leading Norland to a 28-6 record and the 6A state title ... Earned 6A Finals MVP honors and was named Dade County Athlete of the Year ... Averaged 21.2 points, 9.6 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game, while shooting 67 percent from the floor

#42 Josh Linthicum 6-11 Jr. Center Bucknell

2006-07 — Linthicum, a strong, physical 6’11” Center will be depended upon heavily in 07-08… 2005 graduate of Virginia Episcopal School in Lynchburg, Va. ... served as team captain for head coach John Windham ... earned Virginia Independent Schools All-State honorable mention ... First Team All- Virginia Prep League ... named to Lynchburg News & Advance All-Area Team ... averaged 16 points and eight rebounds as a senior ... averaged 16 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks as a junior, when VES ranked No. 1 in the state ... was also an all-state performer in New Mexico before moving to VES prior to the 2003-04 season ... attended prestigious Superstar Camp in Georgia, as well as Rick Majerus Big Man Camp.
