Day One. Sunday 10 October 2021.

Today we begin our amazing journey and travel to Port Melbourne to board the Spirt of Tasmania and sail towards Devonport. While on board sit back, relax and enjoy lunch and dinner. On arrival we travel to Launceston to our base for tonight.

Day Two. Monday 11 October 2021.

We begin our travel East via Campbelltown, Ross and Avoca to Bicheno. Highlights for today will be The Red Bridge made up of one million Convict handmade bricks, Tree Wood Carvings, the Convict Brick Trail, Venus Sundial, St Luke’s Church and The Fox Hunters Return. Ross Bridge (third oldest in Australia), Tasmania Wool Museum, the Home of Scallop Pies, Ross for lunch. Avoca, the Cow Shed. In Bicheno we will visit the Blow Hole Redbill Beach, Whalers Hill Lookout, Bicheno Motor Cycle Museum. You may have an option (own cost) to do the Penguin Tour.

Day Three. Tuesday 12 October 20211.

Today we continue sightseeing around the Bicheno area and travel to Freycinet National Park, Cole’s Bay, Wineglass Bay, Sleepy Bay, and Freycinet Marine Farm. We will then travel back to Bicheno.

Day Four. Wednesday 13 October 2021.

Our adventures today have us in Hobart tonight. We will travel via Swansea, Orford, and Richmond. Today’s highlights will include Kate’s Berry Farm, Darlington Vineyard, the Pooseum Museum, the oldest bridge in Australia, the oldest Catholic Church and the oldest intact jail built in Australia. On arrival in Hobart, we check into our base for the next four nights.

Day Five. Thursday 14 October 2021.

The visit today of the world-famous heritage listed Port Arthur Historic site is something you will remember for a long time, including guided walking tour and cruise. Other highlights will be Port Arthur Lavender Farm, Tasmania Devil Unzoo, Tessellated Pavement, Eaglehawkneck historic site and Doo Town.

Day Six. Friday 15 October 2021.

Mona is our first port of call today (Museum of Old and New Art). For those that would like to arrive by high-speed catamaran there will be an option (own cost) to take the ferry to Mona. Other highlights for the day the Female Factory (Women’s Prison), Cascade Brewery and Mt Wellington.

Day Seven. Saturday 16 October 2021.

Today’s fun begins with a visit to the fabulous Salamanca Market. You will have free time to explore the market and surrounds. There are many food stalls, street stalls, cafes and restaurants to choose for your lunch today. Afterwards we will meet and take in some of the sights around Hobart including St David’s Park, William Buckley Unmarked Grave, Mawson’s Hut Replica and many more of Hobart’s sights.

Day Eight. Sunday 17 October 2021.

We travel today via the to Strahan(along the windiest road around). On the way we visit Bridgewater, New Norfolk, Gretna, Hamilton, , , Nelson Falls and .

Board the Big Cat (Strahan World Heritage Catamaran) as we sail to Hells Gate, stop off at Sarah’s Island (world’s toughest penal colony) and continue to the Gordon River, on this amazing 6-hour experience which also includes a visit to a Huon Pine working timber mill. The cruise will finish around 3.00 pm. We will spend some time in Strahan before driving back to Queenstown.

Day Ten. Tuesday 19 October 2021.

Our day begins at The Wilderness Railway for our 4-hour adventure on the Rack and Gorge Train. Then a Fabulous lunch, we spend the afternoon touring around Queenstown, visiting the Galley Museum, 30 Rooms of West Coast History, Art Gallery (all local Artists) Iron Blow Lookout, and spend some time in the local shops. We also visit the Football Ground made of Gravel! (Gravel over Grass?).

Day Eleven. Wednesday 20 October 2021.

Today we travel to the North West Coast to our destination for the next couple of nights, Wynyard, taking in the sights of Zeehan, The Heritage Centre, Lake Rosebery, Hellyer Gorge, Burnie, Emu Valley, Rhododendron Garden, Emu Bay and Somerset.

Day Twelve. Thursday 21 October 2021.

We spend the day around the North West of Tasmania taking in highlights, The Nut and the Chairlift, at Stanley, Smithton, Godfreys Beach, Circular Head Heritage Centre, Duck Bay and Lobster Ponds.

Overnight Wynyard. Meals: breakfast, lunch & dinner.

Day Thirteen. Friday 22 October 2021.

On our journey to Launceston our base for the last couple of nights, we visit Sheffield Steam & Heritage Centre, Lake Barrington and the Kentish Museum. After lunch we travel via , visiting the Trowunna Wildlife Sanctuary, Deloraine Ashgrove Cheese Dairy, Deloraine Train Park, Lobster Falls, and Culzean Gardens.

Day Fourteen. Saturday 23 October 2021.

On the Drive through the Tamar Valley, we visit Wetlands, Grindelwald Swiss Village, Exeter, Beaconsfield Mine Tour, Beauty Point, Bell Bay, Georgetown, Low Head Lighthouse, Cataract Gorge and Royal Park before arriving back at our hotel.

Day Fifteen. Sunday 24 October 2021.

After an early breakfast it is time to say bon voyage as we fly back to Melbourne where you will be met by the coach for the trip to Geelong. Meals: breakfast. Inclusions.
