Holiday Cocktail Class

What do you need? - Ingredients 1 bottle of Stray Dog Wild Gin (www.StrayDogGin.com/Buy) All cocktails we are making today can be made with either gin or vodka, so feel free to mix it up! 1 bottle of Tonic Water ( I love q Tonic) 1 bottle/can of hard cider (I love Docs) 2 lemons 1 apple Honey Simple Syrup (please make in advance. Mix 1 cup sugar with 1 cup of hot water. Stir to dissolve, and put in fridge) Frozen Cranberries Rosemary sprig Angostura Bitters Cinnamon Ice - Glassware 1 wine glass 1 martini glass 1 highball glass - Tools A cocktail shaker Strainer Jigger or measuring spoons Citrus peeler Hand juicer Knife Tonight’s Cocktail Menu
Mistletoe Gin & Tonic - 2 oz of Gin - 5 oz of Tonic - Garnish with frozen cranberries and rosemary sprig
Pour the gin into a goblet or wine glass. Fill glass with ice. Top with tonic water. Garnish with cranberries and rosemary sprig to holiday color and flavor
Busy Bee - 2 oz Gin - 1 oz lemon juice - .75 oz Honey-Cinnamon Syrup
To make syrup: mix together ½ cup of honey with ¼ cup of hot water. Mix in teaspoon of ground cinnamon. Stir until honey is dissolved.
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker. Add ice. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with lemon twist.
Bobbin’ for Apples - 1.5 oz Gin - .5 oz Lemon juice - .5 oz Simple Syrup - 3 dashes of Angostura Bitters - Top with sparkling cider
Add gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker. Add ice. Shake, and strain into a highball glass. Top with ice, and fill with apple cider. Garnish with bitters on top of glass, and sliced apples.
To make simple syrup: bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Add 1 cup of sugar. Remove off heat and stir to dissolve. Refrigerate.
