MIND’s tips for a restful Christmas https://www.mind.org.uk/workplace/mental-health-at- work/taking-care-of-yourself/christmas-tips/

Take time to make time

 Decide what really has to be done for the festive break and don’t overload yourself.

 If you really find you have too much to do, whether at work or home, speak to someone to ask for help and to look at what tasks could wait until after the break.

Manage other people’s expectations

 Try not to make promises you can’t keep and be honest with people about what you want and what you can manage.

Take your breaks

 It’s a busy time of year but you still need to take some time to relax and rest. In the long run this will help you to get through your to-do list.

 Try and take a walk or get some fresh air during the day. Exercise and daylight are good for your physical and mental health.

Stick to your usual routine

 Keep up some regular exercise, don’t over-indulge on food and drink and try to get up and go to bed around your usual times.

 It’s important to use your holiday to relax and unwind, but keeping active will help you too feel more refreshed.

Wishing you a lovely festive break!
