1 Minutes CheRRIE Project CHEMICAL AND RADIOLOGICAL RISK IN THE INDOOR ENVIRONMENT 07 April 2014 Bansko () ………………….

Decisions ………………… The following actions in fulfillment of the CheRRie Project should be performed concerning the field measurements and laboratory analyses as expected according to the foreseen WP3 activities: - Each side should provide (field) gamma-spectroscopy measurements at 25 public buildings (schools, hospitals, administrative, etc.) and 15 private (living) buildings situated in three major cities situated along the border area of both countries and including Thessaloniki, Serres, and Kilkis for Greece and – Blagoevgrad, Smolyan, and for Bulgaria, respectively; - Each side should provide sampling and subsequent laboratory tests and analyses of 100-120 samples of selected building materials from the above mentioned places allowing comparison of the received results concerning their possible radiological and chemical hazard impact on public health.
