14 Fairtrade Filme im Green Screen Naturfilm Festival

Was ist Fairtrade?

An unlikely team of activists is out to expose the two worlds endangering species across the globe. The first threat to the wild comes from the international trade of wildlife. Bogus markets are being created at the expense of creatures who have survived on this planet for millions of years. The other threat is all around us, hiding in plain sight. The film shows breathtaking pictures that allow us to see the world in a total new perspective.

100 WILDLIFE FILM CAMPS

During the summer holidays, GREEN SCREEN invites young nature and animal film enthusiasts to make their own films under the expert guidance of media educators and experienced pro- fessional filmmakers. Teenagers between the ages of 13 and 18 shoot their own animal film at a one-week nature film camp in the Wildpark Eekholt. They learn how to use the camera and the editing program, how to work on a story and how to realize it with subsequent soundtrack. How best to set the animal protagonists in scene? An important factor is patience and of course the good cooperati- on among the film team members.

Junge Naturfilmer in Eekholt The camp Wattenmeer in Tönning is intended for young people between 14 and 20 years with first experiences in film. In teams, the creation of their own environmental documentation is learned: research topics, acquiring and interviewing people, taking interesting film shots, sifting through the material and cutting it into a gripping reportage. The Wadden Sea National Park is her classroom. The productions created at the camps can be submitted to the „GREEN SCREEN YOUTH FILM AWARD“ and can be seen at the GREEN SCREEN Festival at the YOUTH FILMS AWARD (see page 106).
