Director Gregory C. Stieber

A Piece of my Heart is the second production of this year's Studio Theatre season. Students and alumni who have distinguished themselves as capable directors, both within the academic program and the Fort Wayne community, are invited to direct a production in the Studio Theatre. Gregory Stieber's work as an actor and director has been seen at PIT and at other theatres in the Fort Wayne area. He has appeared in The Tragical History of Doctor Faustus, Baby with the Bathwater, In the Boom Boom Room, and Follies at Purdue-Indiana Theatre. He was seen as Snout in A Midsummer Night's Dream for the Fort Wayne Civic Theatre and received the Best Director award from Arena Dinner Theatre for his production of Vanities. At PIT Stieber has directed The American Buffalo, and stage managed Tremor Cordis, The Diary of Anne Frank, and The Women. He was a student instructor for IPFW's continuing education course, Acting as an Avocation, and is the author of a full-length play entitled, A Fly in the Honey.
