2013 POSTSEASON MEDIA INFORMATION CREDENTIAL PICKUP: Credentials for the 2013 A.L. Wild Card game approved in advance can be picked up at Media Gate B, located behind the LF foul pole along Gateway Plaza. Employee Gate D, located behind the home plate area, will be used for all credential distribution and media access for any ALDS, ALCS or World Series games hosted at Progressive Field. Only applications submitted through MLB’s Online Credential System will be consid- ered. Media Gates B and D will open to credentialed media members approximately 6 hours before first pitch and as necessary on official Workout Days. PARKING: Due to the realities of Progressive Field’s location downtown, an extremely limited supply of media parking passes were made available for the Gateway East Garage, which is located directly adjacent to the ballpark behind the LF bleachers (enter garage via Huron Ave.) - this garage is accessible for a fee in the absence of a media parking pass and in many cases it may be necessary to make your own arrangements for parking. MAIN PRESS BOX: The Main Press Box and Broadcast Booths 1-8 are located on Level 4 of Progressive Field, directly behind home plate. All seating in the Main Press Box will be assigned according to MLB guidelines and only media with appropriate credentials for this area will be granted access. AUXILIARY PRESS BOX AREAS: The Progressive Field Rookie Suite and adjacent balcony will provide additional media seating and work space for all Postseason games; this area is equipped with internet access, power strips, televisions and audio for all announcements made from the Main Press Box and/or Official Scorer. Assigned seating may be required in later rounds. As necessary, Sections 316 and 317 in the LF Mezzanine will be fitted to accom- modate additional media for ALCS and/or World Series games. To access the Rookie Suite/LF Mezzanine, exit the Carnegie Elevator (home plate) on Level 3 and proceed to the right through the Club Lounge area. MEDIA WORKROOM: Beginning with the ALDS, the Press Dining Room, located on Level 4 directly behind the Main Press Box, will be converted to a Media Workroom. PRESS DINING: Complimentary plate service will be available in the Press Dining Room prior to the A.L. Wild Card game only. Boxed lunches will be provided on game days for the ALDS, ALCS and World Series after this space is converted to the Media Workroom. A limited number of items will be made available for sale on Workout Days. Other arrangements have been made for TV Crew members. FIELD ACCESS: Field access is reserved for a limited number of individuals with appropriate credentials and clear- ance from Major League Baseball. The Dugout Suites tunnel, located on the Lower Level, will be the only location used for media field access throughout the Postseason. STILL PHOTOGRAPHY WORKROOM: Is located on the Lower Level directly behind home plate, adjacent to the Carnegie Elevator. Photo editors should plan to use this work space for all photo editing and transmission using dedicated internet hard lines. No photo transmission is permitted from camera wells or concourse positions per Major League Baseball policies. Pool Runners will be available to transport cards back-and-forth between the field and Still Photography Workroom. PRESS INTERVIEW ROOM: Located beyond the Visitors’ Clubhouse on the Lower Level, the Press Interview Room will be utilized for all pre- and post-game media availabilities throughout the Postseason. A live feed of these ses- sions will be provided to various media work spaces throughout the ballpark. INTERNET ACCESS: Where available, media members are strongly encouraged to use dedicated hard lines as their first option for internet access in order to maximize network performance. To access the internet on your laptop, please perform the following steps: 1. Turn off the wireless connection per your laptop’s specifications. Typically, there is an on/off switch or button that needs to be pushed to disable the wireless antenna in the laptop. 2. Connect the provided network cable on the desk into the network connection in the laptop. 3. Test internet functionality by opening your web browser or accessing email. In addition, please turn off wireless on unnecessary mobile devices to improve internet connectivity for those without network connections in their laptops. For technical assistance, please notify the onsite support representative or call 216-420-4357. 2013 CLEVELAND INDIANS SEASON SUMMARY 2013 CLEVELAND INDIANS TABLE OF CONTENTS SEASON-ENDING ROSTER Current as of Oct. 1, 2013 2013 Indians Season-Ending Roster ...............................................3 2013 STATISTICS & INFORMATION 2013 Roster Formation ....................................................................4 First “Half”/Second “Half” Batting, Pitching ...........................104-105 Manager: Terry Francona (17) Coaches: Bench-Sandy Alomar (15), Pitching-Mickey Callaway (44), Bullpen-Kevin Cash (45), 2013 Final Standings .......................................................................5 April Batting, Pitching ..................................................................106 3B-Brad Mills (2), 1B-Mike Sarbaugh (16), Hitting-Ty Van Burkleo (29) 2013 Final Batting/Pitching Statistics ..............................................6 May Batting, Pitching ...................................................................107 2013 Club Statistics .........................................................................7 June Batting, Pitching ..................................................................108 # PITCHERS (26) B T HT.
