I. General Information

HNPCL is setting up a 1040 MW (2x520 MW) Thermal Power Project in . Once Through (Open Cycle) Cooling System has been recommended by MoEF for the power plant as this is a coastal project. This application is for seeking APCZMA’s approval for the construction of Sea Water Intake Outfall System in CRZ area with an intake-outfall capacity of 1,80,000 cum/hr. The same has already been recommended in the MoEF Environment Clearance for the Power Project. The information given in this questionnaire pertains only to the scope of the Sea Water Intake-Outfall System.
